Tuesday 9 September internal work

Colour chosen by the client was strangely enough called "Spruce Shadow"...

Feature screen wall made from recycled apple bins.

Monday 1 September - first day of spring

Roof rafters to the outside shade area installed.

Nigel making a stellar job of tiling the kitchen.

Two openings ready to receive metal windows which were delayed due to the metal workers strike :(




Friday 22 August

The original bread oven, which the new post and beam structure has been built around was the culprit of the fire back in May.
Here you see a new brick chimney protruding through the roof, now fully insulated. The horizontal cement patch work was where the oven burst due to the intense heat being doused by the fire fighter's hose, all patched up and as good as new.
