Glass fitted to post and beam frame with glazing foam.

The famous Red Tractor with the new restaurant behind, fitting in just nicely.

Temporary hoarding and reed ceiling removed.

Monday 18 August

New toilet windows bricked in.

Old reeded shade area being dismantled making way for new post and beam structure.

Insulation fitted into cavity of walls.

Temporary hoarding being removed.

Rebates fitted to gable end frame ready to receive glass. 

Bread oven brick chimney extended through the roof.

Internal work well on the way.



Day 5 and 6.

Sarking boards being laid onto rafters.

Day four

First half of the frame begins to receive purlins and rafters.

Fork and tongue joints to rafters.


Rafter tongue and fork joints coming together at the apex.
Frames 5 & 6 pulled into place by re positioning the mast to the centre of the frame.

The new structure quickly begins to fill the old space.

Second frame standing and connecting girts bolted into place.

Second lot of girts bolted to frame #2 ready to receive frame #3.

Steel connection plate bolted to frame #3 on the ground.
